The dealership is fine, it's the 2011 Equinox that isn't. This is the third near death experience I've had with this car. The motor for the wipers apparently died at the same point when the sky opened and teaming rain started. I was riding blind for approximately a half mile before being able to pull off road, not able to see anything out front window, and only having slight peripheral vision out side windows. Other times was when I had transfer case and then throttle body go on the car. This car has been a lemon from the start with oil consumption which was finally addressed after a very lengthy time. Worst car I have ever owned. Found out from service rep that there was a warranty on the wiper motor which expired a year ago. I asked her why a recall was never put out on this since many online complaints from Equinox owners state how they, too, had near death experiences with the wiper motor failing in major downpours. Yes, I would like this passed on to GM and feel I should get some of the thousands I've spent on repairs on this car reimbursed. Can't wait to unload this vehicle and won't be purchasing a GM product ever again.
